Angela Daly: Angela Daly is a PhD researcher at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy, working on a thesis entitled 'corporate dominance of the Internet'. She is currently a visiting researcher at the Dipartimento Cesare Beccaria at the Universita degli Studi di Milano, and is also managing the New Media sub-project of the EUI's MEDIADEM activities. In addition, she is a regular contributor to the MediaLaws blog and collaborates with transnational civil society organisation European Alternatives with a particular focus on media issues. In January 2012, Angela will be joining Stanford Law School as a visiting researcher. Angela holds an LLM in Comparative, European and International Laws from the EUI (2010), an LLM in French and European Law from the Universite de Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne (2007) and a MA in Jurisprudence from Balliol College, Univerity of Oxford (2006). She also worked for two years for the British communications regulator, Ofcom, mainly in competition policy.
